Wapak Cast Iron was a short-lived company started in 1903 and closed in 1926 …

Wapak cast iron history is below.

Location: Wapakoneta, Auglaize County, Ohio

Period of Production: 1903-1926
Products Manufactured: Full Line
Brand Names: Wapak, Oneta

Although notable for its unique “Indian Head” raised logo pieces, much of the other production appears to have been cast with patterns that were created from pans made by other foundries. It is not unusual to find “ERIE” ghosts on Wapak pieces. Wapak pieces often exhibit casting anomalies, especially on the bottoms of skillets.

Very little of the relatively short history of Wapak is available.
